Ted Piccone

Ted Piccone is the Charles W. Robinson Chair and a senior fellow specializing in International Order and Strategy and Latin America at the Foreign Policy program at the Brookings Institution. His research is focused on global democracy and human rights policies; emerging powers; multilateral affairs; international law; and U.S.-Latin American relations, Cuba and Brazil. He co-founded the Democracy Coalition Project for the Open Society Institute and serves as an advisor to the Club of Madrid, an association of over 100 former heads of state and government. Piccone served as counsel for the United Nations Truth Commission in El Salvador from 1992 to 1993.
