No New GTMO Detainees Going Forward?

So says Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism John Brennan, as quoted here by Politico's Josh Gerstein.  No word on whether this would be the administration's position even if Congress had not imposed draconian restrictions on transfers out of GTMO.  In any event, you can bet we'll be hearing a lot more about this as the conference process on the NDAA FY 12 begins to heat up later this month.
