This is from a real Egyptian government web site, that of the State Information Service. Headline: "US chargé d’affaires in Egypt denies US plot against Egypt." Here's how the text opens:
US Chargé d'Affaires in Egypt Marc Sievers said on Tuesday  15/2/2014 that there is no US plot against Egypt, stressing that the US administration and the Congress appreciate Egypt's regional and international role. During his meeting with Egypt's Mufti Shawky Allam, the US diplomat said that two US Congress delegations had visited Egypt during the last period. All members of the two delegations asserted that what happened in Egypt was not a coup but was a popular will protected by the army, he said, adding that the US administration looks forward to establishing strong relations with Egypt during the coming period. He denied local media reports that the US has banned its citizens from visiting Egypt.
