  • Thurs, June 19 at 12:30 pm: The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and the Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy's Massive Data Institute will co-host an event entitled Improving Government Performance in the Era of Big Data: Opportunities and Challenges for Federal Agencies. Speakers include Counselor to the President John Podesta, and U.S. Chief Technology Officer Todd Park.
  • Thurs, June 19 at 4:30 pm: The Institute of World Politics will hold a lecture with Patrick Harvey, a State Department officer, on the topic Human Rights and US National Security Policy.

The FBI's Office of General Counsel has attorney vacancies in two of its offices---the National Security Law Branch and the Litigation Branch. The application deadlines for the positions are June 24, 2014.
