Today's Cyber Attack on Lawfare

Y'all might have noticed: Lawfare was inaccessible, in an on-again, off-again fashion, for a good part of the day. We asked our hosting service, Blue Water Media, to resolve the problem and report back to us. It appears that some form of cyber attack was responsible for the outage. Blue Water today observed 500 continuous connections to the site, all of them coming from this IP address in the Netherlands: 93.174.95.73. According to a standard "Who Is" address lookup, this IP address is associated with a Dutch server company, Ecatel. (This is not, of course, to suggest any skullduggery on Ecatel's part; innocent servers often are hijacked or otherwise compromised by hackers, whose location can be quite difficult to ascertain.)  This is roughly what happened in December, when Lawfare came under a more sustained attack from various Netherlands-based IP addresses---a few of which, I determined today, also were associated with Ecatel.
